Looking for a protein packed treat this festive season? Our Christmas cupcakes are light and deliciously spiced, perfect for a protein top up on-the-go!🎄
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
½ tsp Ground Nutmeg
1/2 tsp mixed spice
100g light soft brown sugar
100g lighter margarine
60g plain flour
60g self-raising flour
60ml FGS banana & golden syrup oats shake
¼ tsp bicarbonate of soda
¼ tsp cream of tartar
For the icing
6 tbsp icing sugar
3 tsp lighter margarine
1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 180°c. Line a cupcake tin with 10 cupcake paper cases.
Beat the butter, brown sugar and egg with an electric mixer until pale and fluffy
Sift the dry ingredients into the mix, and then add the For Goodness Shake oats and protein shake.
Mix on medium speed until mixture is smooth. evenly divide mixture between 8-10 cupcake cases
Bake for 14 minutes until the cakes spring back to the touch
Cool cakes completely on a rack.
To make the icing, sift the icing sugar into a bowl. Add the margarine and cinnamon, and beat until mixture is smooth.
Ice the cakes and decorate with Christmassy sprinkles!
