Listening to music whilst running opens up a whole new way to enjoy your training, whether it’s by taking your mind off the run and to your favourite daydream instead, or by focussing you on your goals more (see our accompanying article ‘Running on Air’ for more on this area).

These songs were specially selected by a range of marathon and endurance runners for their perfect beats and rhythms to pound the pavement/trails to.

We reckon this playlist is so good you’ll be looking forward to your runs like never before!

It starts off with a few easy warm up tracks so you don’t go too hard at the start, then faster tunes to build up the pace and keep you sustained through the middle of the run. There’s a burst of energised songs to keep you at max speed til finally finishing with some relaxing warm down tunes for you to relax and stretch to.

This playlist is about an hour long, so perfect for your moderate training runs. Add more of your favourite tunes to make a longer playlist.
