I feel I had a good race, a fine swim and a decent bike ride and then ran well but feel I can run much faster. Having said that, congratulations to Philip Graves on a fantastic performance. I was truly impressed and did everything I could to catch him, but couldn’t quite on the day. He has a great future ahead of him. In the future I will focus on racing less Ironman races so as I can produce even better performances in the Ironmans I do compete in. Next up is the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii at which I am targeting a top ten.”
